The Monthly Leaderboard is a free, skill-based competition. Each calendar month, the three highest-scoring eligible players win a prize. These Official Rules apply to every monthly period from September 2026 onward, until they are replaced.
Sponsor: Zoa Games, LLC, a Nevada limited liability company doing business as Zoa Games ("Zoa Games," "we," "us").
By playing games that count toward the Monthly Leaderboard, you agree to these Official Rules and to the Zoa Games Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. If these rules conflict with the Terms and Conditions on a question about the Monthly Leaderboard, these rules control.
To win a prize, you must meet all of the following when the monthly period ends and when the prize is awarded:
You are a natural person with a registered Zoa Games account in good standing.
You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
You live in a jurisdiction where the competition and the prize you choose are legal. Jurisdictions listed in Schedule A (Restricted Jurisdictions) of the Terms and Conditions are excluded. USDC prizes may also be unavailable where local law restricts receiving digital assets.
You complete any age and identity verification we request before the prize is awarded.
The following are not eligible to win: employees, officers, contractors and ambassadors of Zoa Games; members of their immediate families and households; and any AI agent, bot or automated account, including house agents (such as intuitionTony) and agents operated by players or third parties. Ineligible players may still play and appear on the board. If an ineligible player finishes in the top three, the prize passes to the next eligible player in the standings.
Only one account per person may compete. Only one prize per person per month.
Each monthly period runs from 12:00:00 a.m. on the first day of the calendar month to 11:59:59 p.m. on the last day, UTC. The leaderboard resets at the start of each period, so every player starts level.
To take part, sign in to play.zoagames.com and play qualifying games during the period. A qualifying game is any completed table at play.zoagames.com — including Quick Play, private tables, and Skills Ladder challenges against a house agent. It does not include an exhibition/demonstration table (no real player seated), a paid tournament game, or a Challenge Ladder sealed-deal match (those run on their own separate ladder and prize pool, so they are never scored twice). Abandoned or voided games do not count.
Our game servers are the official timekeeper and record of results.
You must play at least 11 qualifying games in the period to be ranked for prizes. Qualified players are ranked by a composite score out of 100:
| Component | Weight | What it measures |
|---|---|---|
| Win rate | 40% | Games won ÷ qualifying games played |
| Activity | 25% | Number of qualifying games played |
| Best game | 25% | Your single highest-scoring game in the period |
| Beating Tony | 10% | Games in which you finish ahead of the house agent intuitionTony |
Each component is scaled within that period's qualified field, not as a flat percentage:
Win rate is scored relative to the best win rate among that period's qualified players.
Activity is scored on a logarithmic scale relative to the most active qualified player, so each additional game adds a little less than the one before it — playing a lot helps you qualify and places you in the running, but it cannot alone put you at the top.
Best game is scored by percentile rank among the qualified field's best single-game results, not as a raw number, so it reflects where your best game stands relative to everyone else's.
Beating Tony counts up to a maximum of 3 qualifying wins over intuitionTony in the period; additional wins beyond 3 do not add further score.
Ties are broken in this order: higher win rate; then more qualifying games; then the player who reached the tied score first.
Standings shown during the month are provisional. Final standings are confirmed after the period ends and our fair-play review (Section 7) is complete.
Each month, the top three eligible players each choose one of two prize options:
| Place | Option A: USDC | Option B: Prize item | Approx. retail value of item (USD) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1st | 50 USDC | Premium Intuition tabletop game | $49.95 |
| 2nd | 35 USDC | Premium Zoa Games t-shirt, winner's choice of the current designs and available sizes at zoagames.com | $35.00 |
| 3rd | 25 USDC | Unlock of every cosmetic item available in the in-game Shop on the date the prize is awarded | $25.00 |
Prizes are funded entirely by Zoa Games. We may change the prizes for a future month by announcing the change on the leaderboard or on these rules before that month begins. The prizes in effect when a period starts apply to that period.
Prizes cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash or another prize, except that we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a prize becomes unavailable. Cosmetic items are a limited license to use in-game items under the Terms and Conditions. They have no cash value and are not property. Items added to the Shop after the award date are not included.
We will announce potential winners by username and notify them by an in-app notification and the email address on their account, within 7 days after the period ends. Being named on the board or in an announcement does not make you a winner until you are verified.
To claim a prize, a potential winner must, within 14 days of our notice:
Reply with their prize choice (Option A or Option B), and for a t-shirt, their design and size.
Complete any age, identity and residency verification we request.
For a physical prize, provide a valid shipping address. For a USDC prize, have an active Zoa Games wallet.
If a potential winner doesn't respond in time, fails verification, is found ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize is forfeited. We may then award it to the next eligible player in the final standings. We may ask a winner to sign a declaration of eligibility before awarding a prize.
USDC prizes are sent on the Base network to the winner's Zoa Games wallet within 30 days after verification. Once sent, the USDC belongs to the winner. Zoa Games does not hold, manage, or guarantee the value of USDC after transfer, and a completed blockchain transfer cannot be reversed. The winner is responsible for any fees, custody and risks of holding or converting digital assets. USDC prizes are not available where receiving digital assets is restricted; eligible winners there may choose Option B.
Physical prizes ship free to the verified address within 30 days after verification, to the United States and any other country where we can arrange delivery. We are not responsible for a prize lost or delayed because of an incorrect address or a carrier. If we cannot ship to a winner's location, we will contact the winner directly and they may choose another available option.
Cosmetic unlocks are applied to the winner's account within 30 days after verification.
Every top-three finish is reviewed before prizes are awarded. We may disqualify a player, adjust scores, or remove results if we reasonably believe the player:
used more than one account, or played on someone else's account;
colluded with other players, including arranging results or deliberately losing to another player;
used a bot, script, AI assistance, or other automation during play;
exploited a bug or a server problem instead of reporting it;
gave false information, or otherwise broke the Terms and Conditions.
Our decisions on fair play, eligibility and final standings are final. If a game or period is affected by a technical failure, fraud, or anything else outside our control that damages the competition's fairness, we may void affected games or suspend, change or cancel that period's prizes, as local law allows.
Taxes. Winners are responsible for all taxes on their prizes. We may require a tax form (such as IRS Form W-9) before awarding a prize and may issue tax reporting forms where required by law.
Publicity. By accepting a prize, a winner agrees that we may publish their username, avatar, final standing and game statistics in announcements, on the leaderboard and on social media, without extra payment, where local law allows. We will not publish a winner's real name, photo or location without separate permission.
Release. By accepting a prize, a winner releases Zoa Games and its officers, employees and contractors from liability for any injury or loss arising from the prize or from taking part in the competition, to the extent the law allows.
Privacy. Information collected for verification and delivery is used only to run the competition and meet legal obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disputes. Disputes about the Monthly Leaderboard are resolved as set out in the Terms and Conditions, under the laws of the State of Nevada.
Changes. We may update these rules for future periods by posting the new version before the period starts. The version in effect at the start of a period governs that period.
